CHILDREN in the Gambia have been reading the News thanks to Sandra Pittwood and Carol Fields, of Chard.
They were on holiday in the West African country in January, but Sandra and Carol took time out from sightseeing to visit a school and deliver some stationery for the children to use in class.
"The children sang to us and recited nursery rhymes," said Sandra.
