WATKINSON June. Peter wishes to express his heartfelt thanks for the many much valued cards and letters, the large number who attended the funeral and also for the donations to The Children's Society. Thanks also to Ruth Rogers for officiating and those others who participated to make my mother's funeral go so well: the readers, Sam and Mike at the Secret Garden Café and those others who helped with the refreshments. I also wish to convey my sincere thanks to the management and staff at Hazelwell Lodge, Ilminster who gave mother such wonderful love and care in her last years and the staff at Fielding Ward, Musgrove Park Hospital who gave such excellent and compassionate care in the last week of her life. Also to Mrs Deirdre Cargen and her staff at Bishop's Funeral Services for the gentle guidance and highly professional but flexible service, which made a difficult time so much less stressful.
