Farmer Evelyn (née Sugg, née Lawrence). 13th Nov 1909 – 10th July 2016. 106 years old. Originally of Norton-Sub-Hamdon, lately of Winsham and Oak Lodge Nursing Home, Chard. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by her eight children, all of her family and those that knew her for her long lifetime of generosity, quiet devotion and determined efforts to unselfishly care for her large family. Her wit, poetry and artistic accomplishments, some of which she has passed on to her children. Her family would like to thank the staff of Oak Lodge Nursing Home for their excellent care of Evelyn for the five years she was with them. Also, grateful thanks to Fr Basil Postlethwaite for his lovely service. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
