CALLOUT: To Crewkerne
A VEHICLE fire was tackled by firefighters on Sunday afternoon (July 13).
A crew from Beaminster was sent to Crewkerne to reports of the incident at around 2pm.
"One fire engine from Beaminster was mobilised to the scene and on arrival, crews confirmed that one vehicle was well alight," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"Using one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus, the crew was able to extinguish the fire.
"The vehicle was severely damaged."
