FIREFIGHTERS rushed to Haslebury Plucknett after reports of a combine harvester on fire.
Fire engines from Yeovil and Crewkerne and a water carrier from Yeovil were sent to the incident off New Road near Crewkerne at 2.28pm today (June 14).
When firefighters arrived they confirmed the combine harvester was on fire.
Crews extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, an attack jet and two thermal imaging cameras.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
