FOUR fire crews have rushed to fight a South Somerset barn fire.
Fire engines from Martock, Yeovil and Crewkerne were sent to the scene on Stoke Road, Martock shortly after 4pm yesterday.
A water carrier from Yeovil was also sent to report of the barn on fire.
On arrival, crews confirmed that a single storey agricultural building measuring approximately 15 metres by 50 metres was on fire.
There was moderate fire damage reported to the building, which was being used as agricultural storage.
Fire crews used two hose reel jets, one main jet, two breathing apparatus and small tools to deal with the incident.
