A VAN caught fire in Chard.
One fire engine was called to Dyke Hill, Perry Street, at 4.55pm yesterday.
Crews arrived to a van and part of the nearby hedge alight.
The van was 80 per cent damaged after crews used two breathing apparatus, one compressed air foam branch, a thermal image camera and small tools to deal with the incident.
