A LORRY burst into flames inside an industrial unit in the early hours of this morning (January 22).
Firefighters were called to the unit in Harts Close, Ilminster, shortly after midnight and found a lorry engulfed in flames inside the building.
Five fire engines were sent to tackle the fire while police cordoned off the scene.
At 2.15am, crews removed the lorry from the unit damped it down.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire was contained to vehicle and its contents (furniture). The vehicle and contents were 90% destroyed by the fire."
The building suffered smoke and heat damage.
